Today, we lay Tita Fele Magdamo to rest.

It gives me comfort to know she is in a better place now with no pain and suffering.

I wrote this poem although there’s not enough words to describe her goodness and how grateful we are for her life.

Her soul is as beautiful as the sunrise and sunset

Her love covers us like the warmest blanket

Kind and generous she’s always been

Someone we can count on ever since

A massive influence in all our lives

She inspired us to reach beyond our potential and thrive

The seeds of wisdom she planted in our minds made us wiser and braver to stand against adversities in life

She was always present even when she was thousands of miles away

And when she’s in the room her presence was both powerful and gentle in a wondrous way

She has touched countless of lives in more ways than one

We will never forget everything she’s done

She is cherished and adored by many,

and we will speak of her very fondly

We are witnesses of her extraordinary character and life

God has truly blessed us with her by our side

Her legacy we will uphold

And her story will be greatly told

For generations must know of our dearest

Tita Fele, as she is the epitome of grace, love and beauty
