Leon F. Mehalick died on Wednesday, August 19, 2015 at Calvary Hospital in the Bronx, NY.
He was 81 years old.
Born in Hazleton, PA, January 1, 1934 to Frank and Anna Franc Mehalick, he graduated from West Hazleton High School in 1952.
He enlisted in the regular army in 1953. A Korean War Veteran, he served with the United States Seventh Army in Stuggart, Germany - a personal specialist, he was honorably discharged a CPL in 1956.
From 1962 to 1972 he owned and operated the Priscilla Beach Theatre (a summer stock playhouse) in Plymouth, MA.
In 1972 he accepted a position of the admitting officer at Cabrini Medical Center in NYC. He retired from Cabrini in 1996.

He attended Pace University and the Fashion Institute of Technology in NYC.
He is survived by one brother, Richard, nephews and nieces, and many beloved relatives, colleagues and friends.
