The Arrangements for Donna Tinnerello have been completed.
The Memorial service will be held at:
Riverside Memorial Chapel
180 West 76th Street
Amsterdam Avenue

Date and Time:
Sunday, October 20th, 2019
12pm arrival
12:30pm service will start
Memorial service will run from 12:30p-2pm in the main chapel

Post service:
From 2-4pm/4:30pm there will be a gathering and catering in the family room at Riverside, everyone is welcome to attend!

We will honor the life and work of Donna.

 My heart is broken at the passing of my faithful friend Donna Tinnerello. 

She was an AIDS activist and helped so many of her patients in the 80's 90's and after. 
You are missed already and I am so blessed to have met you while at Cabrini Medical Center. 

Your heart of gold 💛always shined in the many difficult years of the AIDS crisis. 

I am told that she will be cremated and she had made funeral arrangements yesterday with her good friend Jennifer De Jesus. 
Thank you Jennifer De Jesus for all your love and caring for Donna and for always being there when she needed someone.

Jennifer De Jesus:
Donna’s wishes were to be cremated and to have a service in reflection of her life.
Her memorial will be held at Riverside Memorial Chapel on West 76th And Amsterdam.
Time and Date to still be determined.
I will keep everyone posted.

• Jennifer De Jesus:   Donna Tinnerello, "I will never leave you, I am here".... These were the words I said to her so many days and nights... she gave so much to others, and I just wanted her to know that she was appreciated for that.
• Irma Bonilla: Donna worked very close with the AIDS community for many years at Cabrini Medical Center.
• Aimee Crant-Oksa:   I am so sad to hear about her passing. I worked with her at Cabrini & through FB got to reconnect again. I learned so much from her as her student & then co-worker.
• Paula Fishman: I was Donna's teacher and then her friend, though we saw each other infrequently after I retired. She had a zest for life and learning, treated everyone she met with respect and good will, gave of her time and humor and optimism and caring unselfishly, and like Edith Piaf, had no regrets. She will be missed by all who knew her.
   
• Allison Smith:   Sorry for the loss of your friend. I am glad you got to spend time with her recently and I bet it meant a lot to both of you.
• Anne Frauenberger: This is unbearable news... Sweet Donna:.. you are flying with the Angels now, as you were one here on Earth.
•  Cindy Royer:   I know it will be hard but we all know she loved everyone she came in contact with she will be missed dearly love you aunt Donna
• Ellyn Silverman Linnetz:   I will dearly miss her. When I had heart surgery in July she sent me pictures of her cats to cheer me up. I know she has had it hard. Love and blessings my dear friend.
• Farida Capuano:  Oh no. She and my mom were very good friends from the 80 s. My mom passed away from Alzheimer’s on the 30th after a long battle. I know they are together. I am in a state of shock. Donna was a lively force. So sad.
• Gauri Navare:  So so sad to hear about this . Donna was wonderful . I was glad to reconnect with her as well and luckily got to see her a few years ago .
• Jack Oberlin:  Thankful that we had You in our lives... RIP... no more pain and suffering... 😔💕😔Chris and Jack
• Jane Piazza:    Sorry about the loss of this dear person in your life for so many years.. may she be at peace and may your heart be full of the love you shared for her and with her.
• Janice Weiss Goldstein:    Oh no, R I P dear friend you were such a special person my heart is broken Jeffrey bless you for all your amazing care that made the end better for her. She was an inspiring woman, a beautiful person inside & out, so sad that a beautiful soul is gone. RIP Donna Tinnerello my heart is sad today.
• Jim Moreland: I am very sorry, she made a difference throughout her life, she will always live on in those that she touched. until we meet again aunt donna
• Josephine Figueroa-Rodriguez:    Rip and condolences to all.. Donna was such a caring and happy person.. So sad she is gone.
• Kathy Tusa:   I remember her energy and tireless efforts. She is resting peacefully I'm sure .so sorry for your loss.
• Michelle Hade:    Donna was one of a kind. I always felt like I was with someone who was bigger than life. Loved her stories of the Gaslight Girls days. RIP to a wonderful person who gave so much love and care to those in need. We met in the 1992 at CMC when we all worked in the ID dept in the early days of AIDS. The 11th floor angel.  She adored you from your days as an Intern. She was beyond terrific! And I was grateful to have been in her presence  I am sorry for your loss ... SIP Donna

• Larry Fontana:   Such a loving and caring person. Always remember the care she gave to HIV/AIDS patients. RIP 😪
• Hector Castro M D:  Donna was always upbeat and a fighter for patients and for what she believed in. She had a wonderful heart and soul, she will be greatly missed. My condolences to her family. ☹️ RIP

Not yet a dietitian. It was at the time i was finishing up my bachelors degree and starting the next chapter. 
For a short while that hair worked for me. Tricky perm.

 
You know this is Sam, he still looks the same and he guards me like a hawk.
