Retired RN at former Cabrini Hospital and Stuyvesant Polyclinic on 9th St. Manhattan. 

Later LPN at Bronx Lebanon MLK Wellness Center. 

Member of Einstein Loop Senior Center and Goose Island Seniors. 

We will never forget you.

I will miss you greatly my wonderful friend and partner. We had 27 fantastic years together and I will treasure it all.

Thank you all so much for your words of comfort. They were very helpful during this time of sorrow.
Michael was loved by so many and I know it was a shock to you also.

Michael has been suffering with malignant lumps. polyps and in this cast small tumors most of his life but he was able to have them removed with no problem.
After these 2 little tumors were removed he was instructed to have a little chemo and radiation.
Monday morning, Oct. 3, 2016 he had chemo and was scheduled for radiation also that afternoon but the machines were not working and he received radiation Tuesday, Oct 4th.
Wed. he was doing find but that evening had a little nausea from the chemo, he had pills for that.
Thu he was so weak he couldn’t move his body. That evening I had to carry him to the bathroom and then to the couch recliner.
At 2am Fri he fell asleep and I went to bed. I was not happy with what I saw.

I woke up at 8am Fri and decided to take him to emergency. I got his clothes and went to wake him and he was cold and stiff. That’s when I fell to pieces.

He died between 2am and 8am Fri morning. The Medical Examiner said it was heart disease that he died of.

He was having problems with circulation in his legs, he was getting stents for his legs after healing from his surgery.
She said that was from the heart.

We will all miss him so much. He was a beautiful person and to me a wonderful partner.
